  • Why are you called Metamorfish?

    The name is a playful combination of "metamorphosis" (change) and "fish" – a symbol of flexibility, movement, and life. We believe in technology that adapts to people, not the other way around.

  • Where are you located?

    We have our production in Norrköping, Sweden, with collaborative partners in Scandinavia and pilot projects in the rest of Europe.

  • What type of products do you offer?

    We specialize in integrable textile components that prepare existing clothes and shoes for future functionality. The first application is in riding boots – more are on the way.

  • Do you work with sustainability?

    Yes. Our components are designed to extend the lifespan of products, enabling adaptation for future reuse instead of new consumption.

  • What does the Metamorfish Component consist of?

    A flexible, textile-based structure. It is designed to be discreet and durable.

  • Is the component connected?

    Not in itself. It is a passive carrier that makes a garment ready for activation via external devices (e.g., our Activation Unit).

  • Is it water-resistant?

    Yes, the construction is tested to withstand normal weather conditions and sweat, but not machine washing or soaking.

  • Can it be used in other products than riding boots?

    Yes. The technology is scalable and can be used in work shoes, uniforms, protective equipment, and sport apparel.

  • Do you collaborate with other companies?

    Yes. We have partnerships with Mister Minit in Norway and are seeking more international players in service, manufacturing, and retail.
