Metamorfish combines nature-inspired design with advanced engineering. Our adaptive textile components reshape themselves in real time to match the wearer’s body, and then hold that shape until it’s time to change again. No laces, no straps, etc Just smart materials doing the work.
Metamorfish is the result of years of research in materials science. The magic lies in a unique combination: a memory thread that changes and fixate the shape when activated, and a conductive thread that activates the process.
Woven together, they form a textile component that can be shaped, reshaped, and reactivated again and again. No external hardware after the size setting and during use, no change to the value chain, just one integrated textile component in the end-product with endless potential.
At the heart of the technology lies a breakthrough material: a woven textile that combines two functional threads. One is a memory polymer that softens and reshapes when exposed to heat. The other is a conductive thread, designed to activate the reshaping process using low-voltage power.
Once activated, the textile can expand by up to 100 percent in a single direction, adapting to the shape of the user in real time. As it cools, it retains this new form without the need for mechanical fasteners. To return the panel to its original dimensions, simply reactivate the textile and it reshapes, ready for the next adjustment.
With Metamorfish, sizing becomes dynamic. Instead of fixed dimensions, each product adapts to the wearer's unique body shape, not just once, but every time it's needed. Whether it's adjusting to muscle growth, weight fluctuations, or transitioning between users, the textile reshapes to fit without compromise.
This allows one pair of boots to fit four calf sizes, or a medical brace to adjust as the body heals. It removes the need for laces, straps or elastic panels and replaces them with precision-shaped comfort.

Even after being stored and flex-tested at minus twenty degrees Celsius, the material maintains flexibility and function in extreme conditions.
Our panels have passed 100,000 flex cycles in dry conditions and 50,000 in wet conditions, verified by ISO 5402-1. Reliability, tested in motion.
Validated for machine washing under industrial conditions. The textile withstands repeated high-heat cycles with no loss in performance.
