Reshaping the future of fit with fewer sizes and smarter solutions

Our company Nano Textile Solutions with our ingredient brand Metamorfish started with a simple idea: that materials should follow the human body, not work against it. Backed by years of research and development, we’ve created a patented adaptive textile technology that helps brands and users rethink what comfort, fit, and performance really mean.

  • Company

    Swedish Innovation with global impact/reach

Metamorfish is developed by Nano Textile Solutions, a deep-tech company based in Linköping, Sweden. With a background in textiles, fashion, and engineering, we develop smart textile systems that help the industry reduce waste, improve fit, and scale circularity.  Without having to start from scratch.

What makes us different is how seamlessly our technology fits into existing production lines. No overhauls. No disruptions. Just plug in, adapt, and scale.

    Our foundation:

    • Experience rooted in both tailoring traditions and advanced material science
    • Collaboration with leading researchers in Polymers, advanced materials and textile engineering.
    • Patented textile technology designed for scalable, real-world use
    • A wide range of applications, from sportswear, medtech, to footwear, and protective gear

We merge technology with textile tradition and change the systems from within.

“We’re not just innovating materials. We’re reshaping how the industry thinks about fit, function, and sustainability.”

  • The Innovator

    From tradition to transformation

Sam Issa, co-founder and CEO of Nano Textile Solutions, grew up in a family of tailors and spent many years working in the different stages of the textile value chain. That experience shaped his understanding of  how the industry operates.

He saw the potential to improve the current value chain to reduce waste, preserve quality, and serve more people. All without compromising what works today.

Why are garments still locked into fixed sizes? Why do brands need to overproduce just to serve everyone?

  • Our Story

From Lab Sample to Textile Revolution

It started with a 3×3 cm lab sample at Linköping University. A small piece of polymer that could reshape itself with heat and remember its new  shape.

Through years of prototyping, testing, and building with partners, that tiny sample became A woven textile component at industrial scale ready to be integrated in end-products for real-life use: in equestrian boots, safety wear, medical gear, and other sports products.

Today, we’re in dialogue with leading brands and gaining international recognition through global innovation awards. We’ve shown that high performance and sustainability can go hand in hand – and that one smart material can reshape the way industry.

  • Vision

A world where smart textiles enable a circular and sustainable industry

We believe in a future where Garments, accessories, wearables, and medical devices, adapt to people, not the other way around. Where fewer sizes lead to less waste. Where clothes last longer, support reuse, and fit more bodies over time.

Our technology makes that future possible. It reduces returns, simplifies stock/inventory, and supports second-hand, rental and circular business models.

“Fit shouldn’t be a compromise. It should be flexible, inclusive, and made to last.”

We’re not building just another fabric. We’re enabling a new circular system.
